The 30m Field Class match was conducted with 30 participants.

Dairyville this weekend. Saturday June 3, Working Bee after lunch, clearing part of the bush, including some chainsaw work near the Rimfire range. A pile burn is also planned. Sunday June 4, 300m Field Class includes Service rifles, plus 5 shots Hunting followed by Shotguns. starting at 9am.

 

Then for those interested, a Pistol match. Estimated start time 1:30pm 

It will have reduced range fees of $5 only if you shot field class in the morning. If you don’t shoot Field class then normal range fees apply.

25M Pistol Women and Men’s Sport Pistol 

Distance: 25m. Calibre: .22lr or 9mm. This combines both precision and rapid-fire, in two stages each of 30 shots 

Precision Stage: 30 shots, in six series of 5 shots, each series is 5 minutes 

After all competitors have completed the Precision Stage, they then fire the Rapid Fire Stage. 

Rapid Fire Stage: 30 shots, in six series of 5 shots. 

Each series consists of 5 exposures of the target, each exposure is for 3 seconds; the shooter fires one shot per exposure.

The Dairyville Range has Field Class on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month starting at 9:00am. Service Rifle is the 4th Sunday every second month starting at 9am. Long Range/F-Class on the 2nd & 4th Saturday each month starting at 12.30pm.

The Howard Street Range has Field Class & F-Class Rimfire every Wednesday night starting at 5:30pm.
